A responsible corporate citizen
Recognising the social impact of its business, Elior has made sustainable development an integral part of its quality project. As a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, the Group has also pledged to uphold ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption across the entire business.
Three priorities
Our growth is rooted in acting responsibly towards all stakeholders affected by our operations, with three long-term priorities:
• For our clients and guests: becoming a genuine partner in nutrition, health and well-being.
• For our employees: becoming the industry's preferred employer.
• For the community: acting as a responsible, environmentally friendly corporate citizen.
Commitments
Under the leadership of the Chairman and with the participation of the Managing Director of each division or country, we pledge to:
• Inform employees, suppliers, clients and the general public of the Group’s support for the Global Compact.
• Publicly and systematically promote the Global Compact
• Incorporate the principles of the Global Compact into the Group's operations, strategy and corporate culture,
• Publish an annual account of progress achieved in implementing the 10 principles, listing at least one best practice.
The Group's sustainable development projects are coordinated by the Corporate Human Resources department, which leads cross-functional working groups and shares information on best practices implemented by Elior, both in France and internationally.
