A constant commitment to diversity
As a signatory of France’s Corporate Diversity Charter and Charter for Equal Education Opportunities, we are committed to ensuring that our workforce in France reflects the diversity of French society.
Diversity, a systematical commitment in managers practices
|
Diversity has been integrated into all of our hiring and career development programmes, so that human resources and other managers systematically include this commitment in their practices.
• Training programmes are in place to ensure that 10% of employees, regardless of their ethnic origin or profile, reach a supervisory or managerial position within five years of being hired.
• Candidates are selected using role-playing and skills assessment techniques, without taking into account their educational qualifications or social background.
• Local initiatives are being conducted in partnership with non-profit organisations involved in helping the underprivileged to find work:
• The Jérémy programme targets young people with few or no qualifications living near the Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly airports.
• EPIDe, a Defense Ministry initiative, helps young people from 18 to 21 who have no qualifications, are unemployed and are on the verge of dropping out of society.
• Our subsidiaries have introduced robust policies to ensure that the disabled are given equal employment opportunities and that their needs and aspirations are taken into account by managers.

Focusing on effective job training schemes
|
As a signatory of France’s Apprenticeship Charter, we believe that the most effective path to employment is through day-release schemes with the following objectives:
• Create a reservoir of qualified future employees by hiring more people for the catering business and for management positions.
• Foster a culture of learning in the company by combining job training and academic education.
• Promote the integration of young people who are failing at school or have become marginalised, by encouraging diversity.
