Elior has built its business through partnerships with successful companies with a strong market presence, such as Serunión and Áreas in Spain and Portugal, BuonChef and Concerta in Italy, Azure and Digby Trout Restaurants in the United Kingdom and, more recently, Alsacienne de Restauration in France.

This strategy has enabled us to both establish a leading position in Europe by entering new markets and share our expertise and knowledge with our partners.

Today, the Group operates in 15 countries and generates 40% of its revenue outside France.

An aligned brand strategy

 

Elior has developed a brand strategy that enables us to meet the diverse needs of our partner clients. Avenance, our flagship Contract Catering brand, operates in France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Italy, while in Spain and Portugal our solutions are marketed under the Serunión banner. In Concession Catering, we operate in France and the United Kingdom under the Eliance brand and in Spain, Central America, Latin America, Morocco and the United States as Áreas.

Our relationships with clients and guests are built on a portfolio of trademarks that we own – such as L’Arche, Philéas, Le Self qui fait grandir, Ouishop, Ars, Médas, La Pausa ou Divers, Bert’s, Columbus Café, Flo, Hédiard, Maxim’s, Paul, Pomme de Pain and Quick.

An ambitious growth strategy

 

Elior is strategically committed to doubling in size and generating 60% of revenue outside France within five years. To speed growth and meet the needs of its clients and guests more effectively, it has developed a variety of service solutions, such as related services, travel retail outlets and vending machine services.

To meet this objective, we are pursuing two avenues to growth. In existing host countries, we are forging partnerships to strengthen local positions or acquiring companies that enable our core businesses to rapidly penetrate new markets. In new countries, we are developing strategic partnerships to establish positions in our core business.
