Elior appoints Gilles Petit Group Chief Executive Officer as of 1 October 2010

 As of 1 October 2010, the Group will be splitting the combined functions of Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer currently held by Robert Zolade, co-founder of the Elior Group. Gilles Petit will be
assigned the post of Chief Executive Officer and will also be appointed Chairman of the Executive
Committee of Bercy Présidence (the Managing Partner of HBI, holding company of the Elior
Group). Robert Zolade will remain Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bercy Présidence and will
continue to be very involved in drawing up the Group’s business strategy and external growth and development projects.
