To keep in step with the new lunchtime patterns of employees, Avenance Entreprises is proposing an alternative and complementary offer to conventional restaurant facilities: Institutional fast food restaurants:
Meeting employee demands
The lunchtime eating habits of the French have changed enormously over the last few decades. Causes are the advent of the 35 hour week, the optimization of time spent at the place of work, etc. For 30 years or so, employees spend approximately 3 times less on their midday meal (31 min. in 2009 against 1 hour 38 min. in 1975). Despite this, they continue to consider it important to be able to enjoy a high-quality lunch break.
This new context has been beneficial to the advent of institutional fast restaurant facilities inspired by commercial operations, with great attention given to the image and quality of the products. In just a few years, this consumption trend has become a solution in its own right for employees seeking simultaneously fast service, pleasure and authenticity.
Franchise brands and own brands
Having managed several fast food restaurant names, Elior group partners, like Paul or Bert’s, and more recently Exki, Avenance Entreprises has developed its own brand making an innovative offer and allowing for the nutritional well-being of consumers: Place Café.
Place Café addresses exactly what employees want: enjoying a variety of meals, constantly renewed, in user-friendly areas incorporated into their company environment. The 70 existing facilities offer conventional or more modern solutions which are tasty and balanced: a menu of more than 100 sandwiches based on different varieties of bread cooked on the spot, wraps, salads, gourmand desserts ... It couldn't fail to be a success: some sites already attract more than 200 regular customers every day!
As a spinoff of its success, Avenance Entreprises has also developed a new concept: Food Street. Inspired by the diverse restaurant offerings of the New York streets, a genuine alternative to self-service, this new brand proposes complete meals based on products and recipes from 5 different sources (Italy, China, France, United States, Mexico). |
