27.03.2009The Elior reveals its first carbon balance in the institutional restaurant sector
As part of its sustainable development policy, the Elior Group drew up its first carbon balance for
Institutional Restaurant Services in the Parislocated
building of the Macif Head Offices for which it
has been providing restaurant services since September 2007.

Headed by the Security and Environment Department of Avenance Entreprises, a subsidiary of the Elior Group specialising in
enterprise restaurant services, this balance consisted in measuring the greenhouse effect gas
emissions of restaurant and related services, like automatic dispensing.
The goals :
- identify the sources,
- measure the relative significance,
- thus determining their impact on the climate
- set up appropriate action plans to cut down on these emissions.
