Elior Integrated Services: growing through diversity

Since 2007, Elior Integrated Services (EIS) has been expanding on the UK market of facilities management services. Thanks to Elior’s market position in food services, EIS promotes a range of bundled integrated services to its clients.

Elior Integrated Services (EIS), a division of Elior UK, was formed in November 2007 with a single-service focus on catering.  In response to market

interest, the group rapidly expanded to provide integrated facilities management (FM) services, from cleaning and security to reception and managed services. Although there are some large players in the FM sector, the UK market continues to grow with space for specialists like EIS.

In a tight economy, facilities management can provide substantial improvements in efficiency and cost control. In the public sector, the trend toward outsourcing is expected to continue to grow as government bodies strive to make the most of limited resources. EIS already holds prominent contracts with defence and the national police.

The division can capitalise on Elior’s market position in food services by promoting a range of bundled integrated services to its clients. With 1,800 employees, EIS tailors its scalable service packages to each client’s particular operational needs and expectations, allowing the client to focus on its core businesses and creating a long-term, performance-based relationship.

EIS defines itself by its innovation, its culture of diversity and inclusion, and above all, its unmatched responsiveness and the quality of support that it provides to customers.

For services that it cannot deliver from in-house resources, EIS partners with a range of specialist service providers.  EIS builds strong relationships with these partners to ensure that each link of the supply chain understands the needs and objectives of delivering the best possible service and value to clients.

“EIS's defining characteristics are hard work and an aggressive vision. These two things have helped our division grow from one that didn't even operate in FM just three years ago to one that now has a turnover of over £30m, with many more opportunities on the way.” John McEwen, Managing Director of Elior Integrated Services

EIS 6 commandments:
• Focus on Core Business
• Reduce Costs
• Increase Flexibility
• Improve Service Quality
• Introduce Best Practices
• Establish a Vehicle for Change
