With a capacity of 67,000, Murrayfield is Scotland’s biggest stadium and one of the largest in the UK. Under the new contract, Elior UK will provide a full catering offer ranging from snacks for spectators through to hospitality packages, seminars and conferences, both on and outside of matchdays.
The major international events scheduled for the rest of 2009 and early 2010 will be an opportunity for Elior UK to demonstrate the quality of its services, and reservations for hospitality packages are already attracting a great deal of interest.
The awarding of the Murrayfield contract has bolstered Elior UK’s leadership position in stadium catering in Scotland and follows on from contract renewals in the past twelve months for Scottish club stadia, including with Glasgow Rangers, Hearts and Hibernian
